We are first time home buyers and the Biggar team were patient, exceedingly helpful and answered all my questions quickly and professionally no matter how dumb the question I had was! They made me feel like I had known them for years every time we talked. Given my circumstances they were accommodating and worked hard from start to finish to get me my house! If I could buy a new house every year I’d use them every time

Highly recommended! As a newcomer to the Canada, I had no idea who to reach out to when we were contemplating to buy a home. Contacted our bank’s mortgage department, who were really not that interested in our business it seemed. Searched some more, and found The Mortgage centre, and Rodney Biggar on google, and reached out. He took the time to walk us through the process, pre approved us, and when it was time to buy, supported us during the process. We listened to Rod, trusting his advice and ended up getting an extremely good mortgage rate. Even our Realtor was so pleased with Rod, that he said he would be recommending TMC and Rodney from now on.

I can't say enough about how great we were treated by "The Biggar Team". Step by step, they went through the process with us and never once did we feel like we weren't looked after. Many, many thanks to Rodney, Mike and Alicia for their efforts in getting the deal done and us into the perfect home for our growing family. Great job folks and thank you once again!! Rodney stays on the case and keeps you informed every step along the way until you get to the finish line. Since we were out of province, it was great having someone where we were buying who knows the players, is very comfortable with phone and internet and email, and gets good results too. I really felt he was on our team and not just another employee with a job. He made a difference for us. I would go back again!

Rodney and his team are incredible. They get back to you so fast no matter if it’s the weekend/evening etc. and they simply just know what they are doing. They got us a better deal than we even imagined after the bank simply said they couldn’t go any lower. I would recommend the Biggar Team time and time again. After what I would consider my worst experiance to date with a bank and trying to get a mortgage a friend recommended I call the Biggar Team for assistance. Feeling defeated from 5 painful weeks of going back and forth with the bank and then getting declined I figured i had nothing to lose. From the initial conversation on the phone with Rodney I could sense that this team was willing to do anything they could to get me the mortgage and they were going to get it done as quick as possible. Their highly organized checklist and follow up emails were brilliant ( the bank should take note of this). Within 3 days of our initial conversation the team came back to me with very positive news based on a few little criteria still required from the bank. Long story short, they completed the transaction and I now have the home I wanted. The profesionallism of this team was top notch. The efficiency of thier system was superior compared to what I had just experience with the bank. The informative emails leading up to my possesion day were over and above my expectations and helped greatly in prepairing myself for the big day. I would highly recommend using the Biggar Team for any morgtage needs.

Rodney was amazing when it came to getting our mortgage setup. We had a complicated situation moving from the US back to Canada after many years but he got it done and made the process smooth. If we had questions, Rodney responded quickly. He also sent out useful reminders as the mortgage process progressed.

The Biggar team does so much more then offer mortgage services, they really do educate their customers and help them understand all available options. Its not always about the bottom dollar! Every situation is unique and the options they have available and services provided really set them apart. Receiving confirmation emails at 11:00pm tells me they care and really value your time. Despite reading a book about mortgages before pulling the trigger on my buying decision, I asked more than my fair share of questions about the process and I always received patient replies and informative answers. I was impressed by the streamlined process they had and punctual reminders throughout my process building a home. They were super organized with the documentation required. They were able to get me the most competitive rates I could find and helped me make the most informed decision. I felt like I was dealing with broker who was trustworthy and knowledgeable. Rodney even caught a few issues and oversights that the homebuilder made and corrected them before it became a problem / delay. For such an important purchase and life decision I felt like I was in good hands. Rodney, Alicia, and Mike helped me get a mortgage and buy a home that my family and I are in love with.
